Pharmaceutical Chemistry / H.J.Roth
Titre : Pharmaceutical Chemistry : Volume 1: Drug Synthesis Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : H.J.Roth, Auteur Editeur : New York:E.H.L Année de publication : 1978 Importance : 407p Format : 24,5x17 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-0-85312-998-1 Langues : Anglais (eng) Langues originales : Anglais (eng) Résumé : these books look at several different aspects of instrumentation, evaluating compression processes and the mechanisms of consolidation and comparing methods used by workers currently researching in the field.the authors describe their work on a range of tableting ingredients which improve (or otherwise) the physical form of a dosage form, comparing binding abilities, disintegrating qualities, and anticapping properties.
The production of synthetic drug compounds is an important area of modern pharmaceutical technology. Advances such as the increased use of peptide-based pharmaceuticals, significant in new concepts of therapy in recent years, are incorporated into this review of synthetic and semi-synthetic pharmaceuticals. Dealing with both chemical production processes as well as commercial aspects, eg packaging and marketing, it is the first of a two-volume work designed to cover the field of of modern pharmaceutical chemistry. The second volume has been planned to cover the biogenic drug field. The material, which assumes a knowledge of organic chemistry, is considered under nine chapter headings, and there is a further chapter to incorporate those drugs which do not fit into earlier groups. The choice of drugs has been made on two accounts - frequency of prescription, and importance of position on the market.Pharmaceutical Chemistry : Volume 1: Drug Synthesis [texte imprimé] / H.J.Roth, Auteur . - [S.l.] : New York:E.H.L, 1978 . - 407p ; 24,5x17 cm.
