Lady Windermere's Fan is a four-act comedy, first performed 22 February 1892 at the St James's Theatre in London. The play was first published in 1893. A sparkling comedy of manners - like many of Wilde's comedies, it bitingly satirizes the morals of society. It was an instant success and has continued to amuse and delight audiences all over the world. |
